Tour
Cancellations
Here at Daves, we hold a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel your reservation with us, please do so at least 48 hours prior to check-in time at the shop, and we will be able to offer a full refund.
Cancellations between 48 - 24 hours prior to check-in will be charged 50% of the full booking amount.
No shows and late cancellations (within 24 hours of check-in) will be charged the full tour amount.
Seasickness, inability to equalize and personal health conditions are not premises for a refund.
The weather here in Kaikoura can be quite temperamental, in the event of a weather-related cancellation due to unsafe conditions, alternative dates will be offered. Daves Diving will fully refund anything that has been paid for should alternative dates not suit.
If no successful dive after boat departure due to deteriorating conditions, 80% refund will be offered. If the conditions are looking a bit wobbly, we will have a chat with you before setting sail.
Course
Cancellations
Courses are a little more complicated, we hold a 72-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel your course with us, please do so at least 3 days before day one of your course, we will be able to offer an 80% refund.
No shows and late cancellations (within 72 hours of check-in) will be charged the full course amount.
Seasickness, inability to equalize and personal health conditions are not premises for a refund.

Safety
Safety is an integral part of our organization at Daves' Diving. We are committed to providing and maintaining a safe environment for the health, safety and welfare of our staff, customers, contractors, visitors and members of the public who may be affected by our workplace activities.
We are committed to safety performances by reference to the following objectives:
